The Role

We are seeking an Optical Engineer to design and optimize electro-optical and thermal camera systems for drone applications, focusing on advanced zoom capabilities and image quality.

What You'll Do

• Develop camera system specifications and select components for both electro-optical and thermal systems

• Establish an image quality laboratory

• Collaborate with suppliers and conduct camera module testing

• Adjust camera parameters (ISP settings, histograms, etc.) for optimal image quality

Requirements

• Required: MSc in Physics, Optical Engineering, or related fields

• Minimum 4 years designing, tuning, and testing optical systems

• Strong optical engineering background

• Python proficiency required

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Nice to Have

• PhD in optics

• C/C++ experience

• Drone camera experience

• Thermal imaging experience

• Embedded systems experience
