The Role

On-Board Software Engineer to join the expanding team in Athens, focusing on innovative space software development for satellite systems.

What You'll Do

• Participate in the complete cycle of onboard software development

• Develop Software Systems Requirements Specification and Architecture for space-critical systems

• Design, develop, test and debug software for Planetek's SPACE product line

• Create and sustain software tools supporting on-board development

• Implement quality metrics to enhance software maturity

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Space Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field

• Minimum 5 years professional experience in on-board software development

• Space systems engineering expertise

• Object-oriented programming and software engineering knowledge

• Proficiency in C/C++ and similar languages

• Experience with microprocessors (SPARC LEON, ARM, multicore systems)

• Extensive knowledge of intra-satellite communication protocols

• FPGA or low-level hardware programming experience

• Fluent English and Greek

Nice to Have

• Aerospace software standards knowledge (ECSS-E-ST-40C)

• System validation experience with embedded software

• Space application testing and validation approaches

• Model-based engineering familiarity

• Configuration management systems experience
